Obituary for Juan Carlos Arroyo

On July 8, 2022, Juan Carlos Arroyo passed away. He was the husband of Susan K. (nee Harbaugh) Arroyo. He was born on April 23, 1958 in Peru to Honorata (nee Quinto) and the late Segundo Juan Arroyo. He is the father of Rosalinda Toval and her husband Dario, Carlos D. Arroyo and his wife Tasha Kay, and Cassandra N. Arroyo; grandfather of Dario, Lorenzo, and Gisella Toval, and Elliot and Carlos Jacob Arroyo; also survived by 1 brother, Jorge Arroyo and his wife, Marybel of Peru and 1 sister, Miriam Poe and her husband Edward of Carroll County. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by 1 brother, Jose Arroyo. He is also survived by 5 nephews and 3 nieces
Juan was an assistant troop leader for Boy Scout Troop #482 and was on the Board of Directors of Lost Colony Condominium Association. Juan thoroughly enjoyed tennis and was thrilled when he had the opportunity to visit Wimbledon in England. He was also fortunate to visit and watch tennis tournaments at the U.S Open in New York. Juan was a retired programmer, and prepared taxes at H & R Block for 30 years and enjoyed remodeling homes. He loved travelling throughout the United States and in Europe, spending time with his grandchildren and loved to be on the water with his jet ski and kayak.
The family will have a viewing at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road., Reisterstown, MD 21136, Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
