John R. Turnbaugh, 80, of Reisterstown, passed away on July 28, 2020. He was born on June 15, 1940 in Phoenix, Maryland to the late Thomas I. and Virgie V. (nee Minor) Turnbaugh. He was married to the late Dorothy Ann Turnbaugh.

Mr. Turnbaugh was a paramedic. He was a member of Westminster Moose, Westminster Elks and the Hanover Eagles. Life member of American Legion #116 and the Buc’s Club.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Ann Gray and her fiancé Herbert Brooks of Owings Mills; daughter Sheryl Franks and her husband Jack of Reisterstown; grandchildren Jordan, Jack and Ava; great grandchildren Chloe and Layla; siblings Thomas I. Turnbaugh, Jr., Betty V. Hannibal and Charles Turnbaugh.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2020 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136. A maximum of 40 people will be permitted in the building at a time. A graveside service will be held at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 12:30pm, where there is no limit and all are welcome.
