Obituary for Joel Clifford Signor

On Friday, February 3, 2023, Joel Clifford Signor, 50, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was the husband of 23 ½ years to Megan L. (nee Goodwin) Signor. He was born on December 10, 1972, to Barbara L. (nee Valunas) and the late Jerry C. Signor. In addition to his wife and mother, Joel is survived by his children Emily K. and Justin C. Signor; mother-in-law Jennifer L. Goodwin; sister Kristen K. Smith, her husband Steve J. Smith, and their daughter Kara L. Smith; and his sister-in-law Aimee J. Rosenblatt and her daughter Hailey J. Rosenblatt.
Joel was the most loving husband, supportive father, and incredible son, brother, and uncle. He worked as the Chief Operating Officer at RESCO Defense, a Department of Defense (DOD) Contract Supplier. Joel was very involved in various Baltimore community theatre groups, including Glyndon Area Players, Third Wall Productions, and Dundalk Community Theatre. He has been involved in all of his children’s activities through the years, including supporting his daughter at her dance competitions and theatre productions, attending every wrestling match and jiu-jitsu tournament for his son, and taking on the role of PTA President for four years at Riderwood Elementary School, where his wife Megan worked for 16 years, and both of their children attended. Most recently, Joel was made an Honorary Member of the Franklin High School Wrestling Team for his ability to fight. #SignorStrong
