Obituary for Jeffrey William Lang
Jeffrey William Lang, 64, of Reisterstown, Maryland, passed away at his home on April 23, 2022.
Jeff was born on May 10, 1957 in Cherry Point, North Carolina. He attended Towson University in Maryland, received his Certified Financial Planner certification from the College for Financial Planning in 1984, earned his Master of Science in Financial Services degree in 1992, a Master of Science in Management degree in 1995, and numerous other professional designations. He was extremely proud to be a PhD. Candidate in the American College’s Doctor of Philosophy in Financial and Retirement Planning program. He worked for Lincoln Financial Group for 30+ years. He had a passion for teaching and was a coach and cheerleader for many of his Lincoln team members. He was always eager to help people succeed.
Jeff was predeceased by his father, Maynard Albert Lang and his mother Cynthia Joan Lang Baggett. He is survived by Darlene, his wife of 45 years; his children Jennifer and her husband Marco, Melissa and her husband Patrick, and Jeffrey and his wife Amanda along with their daughters Taryn and Emery. He is also survived by his siblings, Karen and her husband David, Jennifer and her husband Mike, Marc and his wife Tamara; sisters-in-law Barbara and her husband Ben, and Sandy and her husband Tom, along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on May 22, 2022 at the family’s residence in Reisterstown from noon to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Operation Smile, a cause that was dear to Jeff’s heart.
