Obituary for Giuseppe "Joe" Matrangolo
Giuseppe "Joe" Matrangolo, 84, of Cockeysville, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care in Towson.
Born November 10, 1935 in Acquaformosa, Italy, he was the son of the late Domenico and Rosaria Buscaco Matrangolo. He was the husband of the late Filomena Matrangolo, who passed away in 2010.
Mr. Matrangolo served in the Italian army. He brought his family to the United States in 1970. He worked as an automatic buffer for Kirk Stieff.
Surviving are his daughter, Rosa Chenoweth and son-in-law, George Chenoweth, Jr. of Cockeysville; grandsons, George Chenoweth, III and his wife Emily of Sparks and Joshua Chenoweth of Cockeysville; granddaughter, Julia Chenoweth and her husband Bradley of Parkton; two great-grandchildren; sister, Giovanina Vicchio of New Rochelle, NY; and brother-in-law and his wife, Giovanni and Rosina Matrangolo.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to ELINE FUNERAL HOME, Hampstead.
