Obituary for Gay Feher (Coombs)

Gay (nee Coombs) Feher, 75, passed away on February 14, 2022. She was born in Baltimore, MD on June, 19, 1946 to the late Grant and Gladys (nee Merriken) Coombs. She is survived by three daughters,Trish Vogl (Todd), Wendy Gereny and Hilary Heath (Percy); six grandchildren, Brooke, Amber and Justin Vogl, Megan and Constantine Gereny, and King Heath. She is also survived by her siblings, Harry Ensor, Joy Rill (Gene) and Grant Coombs, Jr. (Anne); and her Goddaughter, Shateria Ross.

In her younger years, Gay enjoyed camping with her daughters and husband. She also enjoyed watching Steve Harvey on Family Feud. She talked for hours on the phone with her sister. When you walked in her door she was right there to greet you while listening to R&B and ready to talk to you in her loving spirit. Gay spent individual time helping to care for all her grandchildren when they were young and at different times. She shared a special bond with her grandson, King, in her last days, helping to take care of him; he called her Nanny. Her best friends were Shirley Greenblatt, Janet Fadley and Janet Schultheis. Gay was a waitress for many years at Caplans Deli. She loved Jesus and loved to read God's word. To know her was to be loved by her and it was fitting for her to leave us with love on Valentine's Day.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 11 am to 12 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136, where a Funeral Service will begin at 12 pm. Burial will be at Black Rock Cemetery, Butler, MD.
