Eugene David Wachowski, age 57, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020. Gene was born on March 11, 1963 in Pittsburgh, PA to Thomas John and Eleanore Margaret Wachowski. He is survived by his mother Eleanore; his siblings: Thomas, David (Marietta), Rose (“New” Mark), Robert (Meghan), Mark; his niece, Amber; his nephews: Carl, William, Jack; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many good friends and magic fans.
Gene graduated from Friendly High School in 1981 and from Wilkes College in 1985. For over a decade, he owned his own computer consulting business, Genius Application Developers, and earned a reputation as a talented programmer.
Gene could start up a conversation with anyone and was always ready to entertain with a magic trick or two. He loved to laugh and found humor in everything. He will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Baldrick’s Foundation (www.stbaldricks.org) or a charity of your choice.
A “Celebration of Life” party will be held at a later date when COVID-19 restrictions ease.
