Obituary for Emory M Lamb

Emory Mayo Lamb, 70, of Westminster, passed away on September 14, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Baltimore, MD on August 18, 1953, he was the son of the late Blanche (Shipley) Lamb. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lamb, and three siblings.

Emory was a member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers, local 24 and Asbestos Workers Union, local 24. He was very proud of his profession and ended his career as the superintendent.

In his free time, Emory enjoyed watching a variety of shows and videos. He was particularly fond of watching YouTube videos of gold mining and metal detecting. He spent much time watching Vice Grip Garage on YouTube with his daughter, Tracy. When he wasn’t watching videos, he was watching old westerns or listening to the golden oldies music. He could also be found rooting for his two favorite teams, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Baltimore Orioles.

Emory had found pleasure in antique coin collecting as well, but unfortunately was unable to continue with the hobby.

Emory is survived by his son, Timothy Lamb and wife, Janet; daughter, Tracy Lamb; ex-wife, Pamela Barkett; three grandsons, Logan Lamb, Alex Bantener and wife, Heidi and Eric Lamb; great-granddaughters, Melody and Autumn; great-grandson, Dominic; and two sisters, Terry Johnston, Brenda Hyatt.

Per his wishes, Emory will be cremated and inurned in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
