Obituary for Edward Albert Mooney III
Ed Mooney, 80 of Reisterstown, Maryland passed away at home on Saturday, August 12th 2023. He was born in Maryland to the late, Margaret (nee Oltman) and Edward A. Mooney Jr., on June 1st 1943.
Ed attended and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University in Maryland. He worked 37 years for the Johns Hopkins Health Systems as a CPA. Ed was an avid Notre Dame fan and would often take family trips to the University. He was a Parishioner at Sacred Heart of Glyndon for over 50 years, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a devout Catholic with a faith filled devotion to the Blessed Mother. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Ed is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynette and his children, daughter, Jennifer (John) Harding; sons, Matthew (Celeste) Mooney, Michael (PJ) Mooney; grandchildren, Maddy and Drew Mooney, Averie and Caitlin Harding, Grant and Dawson Mooney.

The family will receive friends on August 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 63 Sacred Heart Lane Glyndon, Maryland 21072. Interment will follow at New Cathedral Cemetery.
