Obituary for Edward Robert "Bob" Cheverie

“Bob” Edward Robert Cheverie (88) of Owings Mills, Maryland, went home to be with his Lord
and Savior on the 15th of March following a brief illness. Bob was the son of George and Helen
(Owens) Cheverie of Bangor, Maine.

Bob proudly served his country as a United States Marine an honor he truly cherished. Bob
worked and retired from several jobs during his long working career which included driving
tractor trailer trucks, a job he really loved. He retired from the New England Telephone company
after a long career of event free driving. Retirement was not for him so he continued moving
products via heavy trucks and enjoying every mile along the way. He was also a member of the
Masons and especially enjoyed the numerous smiles he brought to children and adults as the
Shrine clown “LolliPop.”

Bob was predeceased by both of his parents; his brother Richard G. Cheverie of West Palm
Beach, Florida; a granddaughter Amber Mae Cheverie of Eddington, Maine; a grandson Kenneth
Cheverie of Bangor, Maine.

Bob is survived by his sister Judith Hubbard of Bangor, Maine; sister-in-law Rose Cheverie of
West Palm Beach, Florida; three sons, Richard Cheverie of Eddington, Maine and Thonotosassa,
Florida; Terry Cheverie of Elkton, Maryland; and Dale Cheverie of LaPlace, Louisiana. One
grandson Christopher Cheverie of Biddeford, Maine; and two granddaughters Nikki Whitt of
Prescott, Arizona; and Katie Cheverie of Bangor, Maine. Two great grandsons Jarrett and Kyler
Cheverie of Biddeford, Maine and many nieces and nephews.

Bob will be especially missed by his soulmate and life partner Elaine Kraus of Owings Mills,
Maryland; and his many friends of Weinberg Village in Owings Mills, Maryland.
