On October 25, 2019, at 71 years old, Edmund "Ted" Shaw IV, transitioned into rest.
He was preceded in death by mother, Jean Shaw, father, Edmund Shaw III, and brother, Mark Shaw. He is survived by beloved wife of 41 years Maria Magdalena Shaw; dear brother Patrick Shaw and wife Cindy, Loving Children; Kelly Harris and husband Sean, Ted Shaw and wife Beth, and Tim Shaw and wife Vera, Grandchildren; Ethan, Emily, and Madison Elsasser, Sarah, Lilly, Maryanne, and beloved grandson, Edmund James Shaw. His mother-in-law, Elsie Rivero. He was brother-in-law to Maria Smith, Wanda Weston and husband David, Alberto Rivero and wife Donna, Richard Rivero and wife Debbi, Jorge Rivero and wife Ailin, Ismael Rivero and wife Rosita, and Juan Carlos Rivero. Uncle to Shelby and Jessica Smith, Katina Finks and husband Rob, Ganelle Bly and husband Matt, Tiffany Rill and husband Mark, Jaclyne Roberts and husband Daniel, and DJ Weston and wife Jess, Brett Rivero and wife Stephanie, Miranda Janes and husband Ryan, Samantha Ferguson and husband Rob, Nick Rivero and wife Lindsey, Sydni Rivero, Katie Huffnagel and husband Matt. Ted grew up in Baltimore and was an Electrician for Windsor Electric Co. for 46 years. He enjoyed bow hunting, fly fishing, and his Harley Davidson motorcycle in his younger years. As he grew older he enjoyed watching the Ravens play football and Coors Light beers with his friends and family. He loved his family very much and we knew it. Some of our fondest memories are in his last days at home on hospice card playing with his grandson and namesake, Edmund.
