Obituary for Donald L. Opper
Donald L. Opper, 86, of Reisterstown passed away on April 22, 2021. He was born in Newton Falls, Ohio on May 10, 1934 to the late Marion R. Opper and Regina M. (nee Bates) Opper. He is survived by his wife, Elaine B. (nee Cook) Opper.
Mr. Opper served for the United States Army and later worked for the Social Security Administration in the I.T. purchasing department. Donald retired from his career life in 2007. He was known as a car enthusiast and for sharing the musical interests as his son and grandsons'.
In addition to his wife, Elaine, he is survived by his son, Wade Opper and wife, Tracy. 4 grandchildren: Nicolas and his partner Amber Eurice, Brennan and his wife Chelsey, Emmit, and Kelsey, and 2 greatgrandchildren Gage and Tate. Furthermore to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by 4 siblings: June Reimschissel, James Opper, Martha Hoefle, and Russell Opper.
Family will receive friends on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 3-5 & 7-9pm at Eline Funeral Home, Reisterstown, MD. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 12:00pm at Lake View Memorial Park. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park.
