Obituary for Charles Richard Ickrath

Charles Richard “Dick” Ickrath, 80, of Towson, MD, passed away on June 8, 2020.

Dick was born in Springfield, MA on March 6, 1940. He graduated from Classical High School in Springfield, MA and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from American International College in Springfield, MA and his MBA from University of Kentucky.

Dick worked as a Vice President for Maryland National Corporation for many years. During retirement, he taught Economics at Regis University in Denver for 20 years. He enjoyed golf, sailing and baking. He was also actively involved in the 1980s with the Fells Point Historical Society where he served as Treasurer. He was also a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

Dick is survived by his daughter, Heidi Ickrath Gage, her husband, Robert, and their son, Mason. He is survived by his sisters, Sally Ickrath Kealy and Susan Ickrath Shaw, and his brother,Robert Ickrath, aw well as many nieces and nephews. Dick is preceded in death by his son, David Cragg Ickrath and his wife, Marie Cragg Ickrath.
