Obituary for Charles Peyton Hasting

Charles Peyton Hastings, also known as Bootsy, was born on October 10, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Rosh and Beatrice Hastings. On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, Charles made his transition at his home in Pikeville.

He attended and graduated from Mount Saint Joseph high school in Baltimore, Maryland. He later attended and graduated from the University of Baltimore with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Charles was employed as a Pretrial Service Coordinator for the Harford County Detention Center for 20 years until his retirement.

He loved and attended many roller derby and wrestling events. He loved and enjoyed holidays with his family and friends. Those he leave to cherish those fond memories are: his sister, Roshann Steele; his niece Jacqueline Adams; and a host of close friends.
