Obituary for Charles K. "Bunk" Frock Jr.
Charles K. “Bunk” Frock, Jr. of Aurora, WV, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at the age of 77.
Born December 29, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Kelly Sr., and Rita Katherine (O’Leary) Frock. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Marcheta, his 2nd half. Their love story is proof that soul mates do exist; his four children, Kelly, Amy, Tina, and Michele; along with many beloved grandchildren. Bunk will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Joyce, Charlotte, and Lou.
Family and friends will forever cherish memories of this incredible man who lived by example with a heart for Jesus, and plenty of love and laughter to share. Charles also loved his country and served proudly in the United States Army, 82 Airborne Division.
We will be celebrating the life of our hero at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, MD 21550, on Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 12-2 p.m. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Wally Weeks officiating.
For safety precautions and according to CDC guidelines, we ask everyone to wear a mask and please honor the social distancing guideline.
Friends will also be received at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Rd, Reisterstown, MD, 21136, on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. Services will follow at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor David Sulcer officiating.
At Charles’ request, he will be cremated following the services.
