Obituary for Carole H. Zeigler (Hubbert)
Carole H. Zeigler, 87, of Annapolis, formerly of Reisterstown, passed away on November 4, 2021. She was born on January 1, 1934 in Baltimore, MD to the late Harry S. and Marion Laura (nee Stevebold) Hubbert. She was married to the late Francis Wilson Zeigler, Jr.
Carole grew up in Pimlico. She graduated from Forest Park High School in 1952 and briefly worked at the C & P phone company. She married Francis Wilson Zeigler, Jr. in 1955 and was a loving stay-at-home Mom to her three children: Sharon, Kathy and John. She loved spending time with her family and relatives. She kept everyone smiling and connected. She also loved being with her friends and neighbors and welcomed everyone to drop in and visit. She absolutely treasured her grandchildren! Carole loved baking, sewing, reading, journaling, traveling, and writing poetry. She was witty, kind, fun, and loved laughter the most. She will be missed.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Z. Munns, daughter Kathleen Z. Hopun (Kevin), son John D. Zeigler; grandchildren Teresa (nee Munns) Cettin (John), Daniel Munns, Andrew Hopun, Alyssa Hopun, Rachel (nee Zeigler) Hill (Wes), Kyle Zeigler and Jamie (nee Zeigler) Sackett (Mark); also survived by several nieces and nephews. Great grandchild Addison Hill. Predeceased by her brother Robert Hubbert.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 9th 3:00 to 5:00pm at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Rd (at Franklin Blvd). The family requests that all guests please wear a mask during visitation & funeral. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
