Obituary for Carlton F. Thomas

In Loving Memory of Carlton F. Thomas, 84, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at home, surrounded by his family.
Carlton was a man of strong faith and a lifelong member of Emory United Methodist Church in Upperco, MD. He was a positive influence to so many lives in the community through sports as a coach, umpire and mentor; long standing member of Kiwanis, Jaycees, Special Olympics; and countless other community service organizations. He was a proud Army veteran and a model of unconditional love, generosity and service to those around him. His legacy will live on through all the lives he touched.
Carlton is survived by his wife Sue; sons, Jeff, Eric, and Kevin, brothers Charlie and Jimmy, and sister Kathy, 6 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, among countless friends and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Carlton’s name to the Fisher House,
a charity and foundation that builds comfort homes for military and veteran families for them to stay free of charge, while their loved ones are in the hospital (go to fisherhouse.org)

The family will recieve friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10 am until the time of the memorial service at 11 am at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg, MD 21048.
