Ms. Betty Ruth Martin, 75, of Parkton, MD passed away on January 2, 2023 at the Autumn Lake Healthcare at Long View in Manchester, MD.
Born February 18, 1947 in Parkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Webster Martin and Mildred (Peregoy) Martin.
Ms. Martin was a teacher and librarian who taught in Carroll County and in Baltimore City.
She was an avid reader and traveler, often visiting Williamsburg several times a year.
She was also an active member of the Hampstead Baptist church.
Ms. Martin is survived by her many cousins.
