Obituary for Audrey K Reid
On Thursday, May 18, 2023, Audrey K. Reid, passed away at Signature Healthcare of Palm Beach in Lake Worth, FL. She was born on November 13, 1925 in Baltimore City, MD to Catherine (nee Schultz) and William C. Harris, Sr.
Audrey lived in Woodlawn, MD and moved to Florida in the 1980’s. She was a private duty nurse and loved helping and caring for other people. Living in Palm Beach, FL, she had many opportunities to meet quite a few celebrities. She enjoyed music, loved listening to Jimmy Buffet and was fortunate to meet him. Audrey loved her sweet bird, Georgie, hats, BMW, Cadillac, and shopping, which was her favorite.
Surviving is her daughter, Nancy Bowen and her husband Ron, Sr., of Westminster, MD; two grandsons, Ron Bowen, Jr. and his wife Jaime of Hanover, PA and Steve Bowen and his wife Liz of Westminster, MD; four great-grandchildren, Caylin James, Melanie Adams, Parker Bowen and Whitney Bowen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their family members.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, George Reid and three siblings, Mary Eckhart, Billy Harris and Evelyn George.
Visitation will be held at Eline Funeral Home, Reisterstown, Maryland on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow beginning at 1:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, Reisterstown, Maryland. Interment will take place in Lorraine Park Cemetery, 5608 Dogwood Road, Woodlawn, MD 21207.
