Obituary for Angela Maria "Noni" Schatz (Denisio)
Angela Maria Schatz (Noni) (82) of Hampstead, MD passed away on February 21, 2021. Born January 6, 1939 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion Cantalupi Denisio and the devoted wife of Andrew N. Schatz.
She was a graduate of Institute of Notre Dame High School, Baltimore, MD, class of 1957. Angela worked for St. Agnes Hospital as an Admitting officer until her retirement in 1995. She was a faithful member of St Agnes and St. Bartholomew Catholic Churches. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at the beach and boat rides on the Eastern Shore. Her family fondly remembers her celebrating our Holidays and sitting down to an Italian feast for Easter and Christmas. She loved animals and had 4 Shih-Tzus during her lifetime. She also loved to spend time with her “grand-dogs” and “grand-cats”. She always made every event and every person who came in contact with her feel very special. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: Andrew C. Schatz and wife Rose of Westminster, MD, John Schatz and wife Kris of Seven Valleys, PA and daughter, Danine Phillips and husband Philip and 10 grandchildren, Douglas, Cristina, Lauren, Jessi, Becca, Maura, Drew, Emma, Kayla, Olivia, Step Grandchildren Kyle, Evan and John and 1 great-grandchild Lyla.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at The Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD. A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 11:00 am at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD with Rev. Michael Roach officiating. Interment will be in New Cathedral Cemetery.
