George went on to receive his nursing degree from College of the Desert in Palm Dale, CA. He then went on to attend Winebrenner Seminary in Findley, Ohio and became a Pastor in order to add a spiritual dimension to his nursing. His mission was to bring God’s word to family, friends and the world.
He is survived by his beloved wife Phyllis; three sons: Don Nikstaitis, Doug Nikstaitis and wife Kerrie, Daniel Nikstaitis and wife Teresa; three daughters: Faith Mclean, Marilou Nikstaitis, Sheree Nikstaitis; brother, Art Nikstaitis and wife Jamie; sister, Marilou Carter and husband Dennis; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
