Obituary for Wayne Roland Leppo

Wayne Roland Leppo, 68, of Hampstead, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 6, 2015 at his home. Born August 8, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Roland and Edna (Rogers) Leppo. He was the beloved husband of Teresa A. (Harner) Leppo, to whom he was married 13 years.

He was a graduate of the University of Baltimore and had been a teacher at CCCTC in Westminster. He was an assistant Scout Master for Troop 665 in Manchester. He was a member of Deer Park Arnis Tae Kwon Do, where he earned his 7th degree. He loved hiking, camping and backpacking with his sons.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Stephanie O'Neill and husband Harry of Fallston, MD; sons, Erik Leppo and wife Judi of Baltimore, MD, Peter Leppo of Hampstead, MD; and step-sons, Matthew Anderson and wife Samantha of Hanover, PA, Adam Anderson and fiance Amanda Robbins of Cockeysville, MD. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, David Leppo.

Friends may call at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD on Thursday from 3-5:00 and 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Patricia Dols officiating. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery
