Charles Raymond Sies, Sr., 81 , of Reisterstown passed away on August 15, 2014 at his home in Reisterstown. He was born December 9, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of the late Charles Edward and Margaret Sies. He was the husband of Mary Cave Sies.
Mr. Sies was a carpenter and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member at the American Legion Post 223 in Sykesville.
Mr. Sies is survived by Sons, Gary and his wife Linda Sies of Waynesboro, PA, David and his wife Karen Sies of Reisterstown, Johnny and his wife Donna Sies of Eldersburg, James Sies of Columbia, MD, Daughters, Lorie Paul of Eldersburg, MD and Jessica and her husband Chris Swanke of Hanover, PA. Brother of Richard Sies of Baltimore. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren
He was predeceased by Daughter, Donna Myers and Son Charles Sies, Jr. Brother Edward Sies and Sister Delores Parks.
Friends may call at Eline Funeral Home 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.
