Obituary for Harry O. Shaneybrook

Harry O. Shaneybrook, 94 of Reisterstown passed away on March 19, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 13, 1919 in Cockeysville, MD to the late Harry Owen and Ada Robinson Zink Shaneybrook. He was married to Doris M. (nee Baublitz) Shaneybrook for 68 years.
He was the owner and founder of Harry O. Shaneybrook Plumbing since 1954. He was a member of the Glyndon United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 116. He was an WWII Army Veteran. He enjoyed gardening and plumbing and spending time with his family. He was an avid Orioles fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife is daughter Joan F. Vandervoort and her husband Robert of Reisterstown, son Richard A. Shaneybrook and his wife Donna of Reisterstown, daughter Deborah S. Carey and her husband Daniel of Glyndon, grandchildren Kimberly Shafer, Scott Vandervoort, Tami Shephard, Ricky O. Shaneybrook, Heidi Shaneybrook, Daniel L. Carey, Jr and Lauren N. Carey, brother Guy L. Shaneybrook of Owings Mills and sister M. Lorraine Engle of Towson. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Friday 3-5 and 7-9pm. Service will be held on Saturday 11am at the funeral home.
