My thoughts and prayers are with you Karen at this difficult time. I have warm memories of time spent with you and Bill and know that his memory will live on in the lives of those he touched. He was a kind and gentle man, a true gentleman.

The other morning I had two telephone calls concerning
Bill's death. One from Frank
Gay in Colorado, and the other from Wilson Bay in Baltimore. I have not seen him for a number of years, but he is missed by his "extended family"
and I want to extend my most sincere condolences to his real family.

It's odd how lives can touch so many, and while I never met Bill, I teach his granddaughter Brittany Hutchison. The love and devotion she showed toward her grandfather speak of a man who made it a point to be an important force in the lives of those he loved. No greater compliment can be paid to a person than this. You are in my prayers.
