Evelyn “Jane” Baublitz, 91, of Finksburg, formerly of Owings Mills, died on February 22, 2010, at the Dove House in Westminster. Born on November 4, 1918 in Baltimore, MD to the late John and Mary Johanna Fanton Sutch. She was married to the late Retired Baltimore County Police Sgt. Wilson Albert Baublitz.
She was a fulltime housewife and mother. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, sewing and loved to cook. She was a graduate of Franklin High School.
Survived by nephew Dennis R. and his wife Cathy A. Mitzel of Hampstead, MD. Also survived by niece and great niece Carolyn L. and Tina M. James of Florida, great niece Jennifer A. Laughton of Hanover, Pa and great nephew Jeremy A. Mitzel of Baltimore. Mother of the late Thomas E. Baublitz. Sister of the late Mary Louise Mitzel.
Services will be held at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown on Thursday, 11AM with the Rev. Dr. Malcolm A. Ellis officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9PM. Interment will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Owings Mills.
