Winifred Baker Garman, 84, of Reisterstown, died on January 21, 2010 in Carroll Hospital Center.  She was born on December 9, 1925 to the late Morris R. and Helen Barnhart Baker.

She was married to the late George B. “Bud” Garman.

She was a teacher with Baltimore County Public Schools.  She taught at Hannah More School.  She was a member of the Reisterstown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws; George B and Donna P. Garman of Morganton, NC and James D. and Dorothy C. Garman of Charlottesville, VA; daughter and son in law Peggy G. and Ross S. Merryman of Reisterstown.  Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Reisterstown United Methodist Church, Monday 10AM with the Rev. Dick Harden and Rev. Carol Yocum officiating.  Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Sunday 3-5 & 7-9PM.  If desired contributions may be made to the Reisterstown United Methodist Church, 246 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
