Yvonne "Karen" Lease
Baltimore, MD – The Lord had Karen's room ready and He called her home on April 28, 2020 where she was met by her loving husband Wade, her parents Emma and J.W., brother Harry, nephews Tommy and Jay Carr, and Jimmy and Jeff Eaton. She continues to be whole and in joy with them while they await our arrival.
Karen is survived by her daughter Sonia & husband Kevin, sister Anita Cessna & husband Tom, brother Tom Carr & wife Marty, brother Dick Carr & wife Eleanor, as well many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Karen was a very loving and kind person. She worked as an aide to children with disabilities for Prince George's County Public Schools where she was well-loved by the children, their families, and co-workers. This experience was vital when Karen became her husband's caregiver, as he suffered with Multiple Sclerosis, for decades.
Karen contracted Covid-19 pneumonia and passed peacefully in hospice two days later.There was no funeral due to pandemic restrictions and she is buried, next to her husband, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, in LaVale. A memorial service will be held on-line, at a future date.
