Obituary for Anthony P. "Tony" Gallina
On Saturday November 20, 2021, Anthony P. “Tony” Gallina passed away at the age of 63. Tony was born on April 1, 1958 in Baltimore. MD to the late Pete and Gladys (Woppman) Gallina. He was the loving husband of Lisa (nee Blatt) Gallina. Father of Danielle Beauchamp (Phillip) and Nicholas Gallina and step-father of Benjamin Sine (Stacy) and Zachary Sine. Also survived by his sisters Wendy McCabe (Jay), Linda Knatz (Brad), Jacqueline Bartley (RC), Gina Sherer (Mitchell) and brother Joseph Gallina (Stacy) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tony graduated from Franklin High School in 1976, where he played soccer and ran track and field. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University. He worked for Ecolab for 30 years before starting his own chemical sales business, Chesapeake Chemlab, in 2009 until retiring in 2021.
Tony loved and adored his family first and foremost. He was dedicated to anything he put his mind to and his hard and honest work ethic served him well, as he was a very successful businessman. He was an all-around great guy, very outgoing and personable. He had many friends and loved to host parties to share his love of food and good wine. His generosity was beyond bounds – he would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. He loved woodworking, cooking, and spending time with all of his loving family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD from 2-5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Glyndon, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
