Ronald David  Morris
Ronald David Morris, 70, of Hampstead, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at his home.

Born May 17, 1948 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Dewey and Mary Hannah Burch Wedderien. He was the devoted husband of Rose Marie Shaver Morris, his wife of 51 years.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Morris was a truck driver and worked for Foreman, Inc. for 32 years. He was a member of Sandymount United Methodist Church in Finksburg. He was also a member of the Marco Hunting and Fishing Club, the Charm City East Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 70 in Essex, and the Teamsters Local #570. He enjoyed fishing, target shooting, shooting darts, and especially being a "Pop-Pop" to his grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Marie and David Reter of Finksburg and Regina Catherine and Mitchell Staton of Street; granddaughters, Gabrielle Nicole Shaulis and her husband David, Sarah Ashley Reter, and Emily Katelyn Reter; sisters, Karen Biden Black of Orlando Beach, FL and Mary Sue Hughes of Belair; and brother, Dewey Wedderien, Jr. of Stewartstown, PA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6 at the funeral home with his pastor, the Rev. Kathy L. Altman officiating. Interment will be private.
