Louis Michael "Papa Lou"  Maira Sr.
Louis Michael "Papa Lou" Maira, 79, of Westminster, passed away on Sunday August 5, 2018 at the Dove House, Westminster. Born June 13, 1939 in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Michael and Rose (Polis) Maira. He was the husband of the late Monica Denise Maira.

He was a member of La Dolce Vita in Baltimore and was co-owner of Howard's Pub, a sports bar. Louis had been an avid golfer and hunter and enjoyed spending time at the beach with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his daughter, Janine M. Wilson and husband Scott of Finksburg; son, Michael J. Maira, Jr. and wife Keely of Westminster; sisters, MaryLou Cinelli of Rochester, NY, and Angela Roy of Rochester, NY; grandsons, Nicholas L. Wilson, Christopher M. Wilson, Anthony J. Wilson and Matthew M. Maira; and a granddaughter, Juliana M. Maira. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael J. Maira.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 10, 2018, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, 10:00 am. Interment will be in All Saints' Cemetery, Reisterstown.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Carroll Hospice, Inc., 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
