Michael Kirk Peters, 50, of McSherrystown, PA "left the range" on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Born February 16, 1968 in Amarillo, TX, he was the son of Craig & Patty Peters and Janese and the late Frank Miller and the beloved husband of Bethany Peters.

Mike worked at York Aviation and was the founder of KTM Engines of Sparks, MD. Mike was a very talented Aviation Mechanic and could rebuild any engine from the ground up. He was an avid firearms enthusiast and marksman. He was a member of both the NRA and Seitzland Rifle Club in New Freedom, PA. Mike lived his life as a devoted Born Again Christian. His family remembers him as a man above men with quiet dignity and a twisted sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Bethany Peters; three daughters: Kirsten Peters, Emily Peters, Morgan Peters; son, Craig Peters; twin sister, Robin Lawson and a multitude of friends & family.

A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 2:00pm at Seitzland Rifle Club - 3938 Bowser Rd, New Freedom, PA.
