Obituary for David Wayne Huether

David Wayne  Huether
David Wayne Huether, 59, of St. Augustine, FL, passed away on May 28, 2018 at his home in Finksburg, MD. Born September 23, 1958 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of Wayne and Joan (Ekr) Huether and the loving husband of Casey Huether.

David was a member of First United Methodist Church in St. Augustine, FL where he played drums with the worship band. He enjoyed music, the beach and building custom drum creations while doing business as Golden Seal Drums.

He was a talented drummer, musician and teacher. He taught drums to local students at Coffey Music in Westminster, MD for over 20 years. He performed live and recorded music with various groups; including: Assuming Shapes, The Quantum Kids and with Tim Jenkins.
David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his daughter, Eva Magdalen Huether of St Augustine, FL; two sisters: JoAnn Barr and husband Ray of Westminster, MD, Sandra Wroblewski and husband Miles; 14 nieces & nephews and 11 great nieces & nephews.

A gathering of family & friends will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, from 10:30 am - 11:30 am, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 am at the Eline Funeral Home - 2901 Bloom Rd Finksburg, MD with Pastor Phillip Daniels officiating.
