Richard T. Cassidy, 67, of Clayton, DE died suddenly on Sunday, May 6, 2018. He was the devoted husband of Jane L. Cassidy; loving father to Nicole Gantt and her husband Thomas; and Vincent Cassidy. He is survived by numerous relatives and countless friends.
The family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home – Finksburg, for a viewing on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, followed by a service at 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Baltimore County Westside Men’s Shelter, where Richard gave his time organizing since his retirement.
A private graveside service will be held at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville, PA.
He is preceded in death by his parents Vincent & Gertrude Cassidy.
Richard was retired from the Social Security Administration in Baltimore where he worked for more than 37 years. Since retiring in 2007 he enjoyed being a part of the Baltimore Ramblers and touring and taking many trips on his motorcycle, including traveling the continental US and Alaska.
