Betty Ann Cleary, 71, of Hampstead, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Long View Health Care Center in Manchester.

Born January 6, 1947 in Westminster, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Vivian Sykes Stephan. She was the wife of Lloyd David Cleary.

Prior to retitrement, Ann had worked for Laser Applications and later for Black & Decker. She was a member of Patapsco United Methodist Church, Finksburg. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and William Blubaugh of Hampstead; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Thomas and Kelly Cleary of South Carolina; step-granddaughters, Heather and Danielle; three step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcelene Miller of Silver Run and Cheryl "Bootsie" Stonesifer of Westminster.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Patapsco United Methodist Cemetery, Finksburg, with her pastor, the Rev. Barbara Allen officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
