Condolence: Dottie, Beth and Mark, you have our deepest sympathy.

Meda and I first met Ted and Dottie many years ago when we joined the Reisterstown Jaycees. Back then, we worked hard on community projects and shared many enjoyable experiences with a remarkable group of young people. Little did we realize that some of these early relationships would grow into a unique circle of friends whose close relationship would literally last a lifetime. Meda and I are forever grateful that Ted and Dottie chose to include us in their lives.

For nearly 50 years, we shared many wonderful memories with Ted relating to golf, tennis, skiing, Ravens, bridge and our monthly dinners. Along the way, we shared our life experiences about jobs, our children and grandchildren, and our retirement years. With his overall intellect and caring personality, Ted was a great listener and a true friend. He shared our excitement over life's many small triumphs and was helpfully uplifting when warranted.

Of Ted's many strengths, the one which was most prominent throughout his life was his strong and continuous faith. He will certainly rest in eternal peace and will forever be missed by his many friends.

Condolence From: Ridge Hooks, Softball Players Association Executive Director
Condolence: Ann and I, and the Softball Players Association staff and players lost a good friend and loyal supporter with the passing of Ted Lawson. Ted was a major supporter of SPA and a major promoter of Senior Softball. Ted and his teams could always be counted on to play in our Qualifiers and World Tournaments. Ted started and hosted one of the most successful Qualifying tournaments in the Eastern U.S. in Glen Burnie, MD. A few years ago, I had the privilege of inducting Ted into the National Senior Softball Hall of Fame. Ted's credentials proved his qualification for this honor. Ted will be well remembered and greatly missed!

Condolence From: Tom and Mary Canning
Condolence: Our most heartfelt sympathies to Dotti, Beth, Mark and the Family,

First and foremost, Ted was a kind, generous, giving person who we were fortunate enough to share a deep friendship with. In fact, though Ted was not Irish, we considered him our leprechaun via that friendship.

During many years of senior softball tournaments we shared hot, cold, wet and good weather games, wins, losses, championships, thousands of miles of travel, funny stories, meals and, oh yeah, beer and Teddy's famous Bloody Marys.

We shared wonderful Ravens football games and tailgate parties with Ted and his son, Mark, Tom's kindred spirit.

Ted and Tom shared the love of not only softball but also the Ravens, the Orioles the Nationals, the Capitals and all of Maryland University's sports teams.

Player, manager and dear friend, we had already begun missing you and the ability to enjoy social occasions with you in recent years.

Goodbye Ted, we love you, miss you but you will never be forgotten.

Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to you, Dottie, Beth and Mark. Lots of great memories over the years. The Jaycee dances, Happy Days, ski trip to Smugglers Notch (the frost heaves in Vt), the Mouse House in Hidden Valley, the many trips to the ACC basketball tournaments, our Half-...Bridge Club. Ted was such a kind person, hard-working, and a great friend. We will surely miss him. There will forever be a hole in our little circle of friends. May you rest in peace, enfolded in the arms of our Savior. Goodbye good friend and buddy.
