Melanie Agnus Swigart, 58, of Hampstead, passed away on Sunday October 29, 2017 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born September 7, 1959 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Violet (Green) Hohman.

She was of Catholic faith and had been a waitress.

Surviving are her son, Brian Swigart of Hampstead, MD; daughter, Cassandra Swigart of Shrewsbury, PA.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated.
