Mary Sharp, 81, of Finksburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2017. Born September 24, 1936 in Montgomery, WV, she was the Daughter of the late Jessey Knight and Nora Chappell; and the wife of the late Paul Sharp.

Mary served her country honorably in the US Air Force. Mary was a natural born caregiver and worked as a Psychiatric Nurse at Springfield Hospital, ran the Methadone Clinic at University of Maryland, and was a Nursing Supervisor at Carroll County Hospital. She enjoyed traveling the world, swimming in her pool, and her dog Furby. Her family remembers her for her kind and loving nature. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are four sons: Jeff Sharp and wife Samantha of Finksburg, MD, David Sharp, Stuart McLin and wife Kathy, Stephen Sharp and wife Joy; daughter, Rebecca Sharp; brother, Alfred Chappell and wife Alice; numerous grandchildren and best friend, Margaret Donovan and Suzanne Parrish.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Rd, Finksburg, MD. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Chaplain Nancy Ginsberg officiating.
