Life Story for Warren G. Harding Sr.

Warren G.  Harding Sr.
Warren G. Harding Sr. of Reisterstown, died August 19, 2017 at Maryland Masonic Homes in Hunt Valley.

Born December 30, 1920, he was the son of the late Henry R. Harding and Margaret D. Harding (Long). He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Helen L. Harding (Hoursh) who passed in 2012.

He is survived by his son Warren G. Harding Jr. and wife Sharon of Oklahoma, daughter Deborah D. Goebels & husband Joseph of Florida, and daughter Donna D. Hansen & husband Sawat of Westminster.

Grandchildren: Jamie, Bethany and Brandon Hansen of Westminster. Mikaela and April Harding of Oklahoma and Great Grandchildren Jordan, Cameron, Kailin, and Mia. He was blessed to have neighbors, Bonnie and Pat Nickols and their children as his guardian angels, that always watched over him.

Mr. Harding was a WWII veteran of the U.S army. After serving his country, he worked as a supervisor on the B&O Railroad for 38 years. He was a 32 degree Master Mason and member of the following: Palestine Lodge 189 AF & AM, Ionic Lodge 145, Scottish Rite, Boumi Shriners, Bonnie Blink Daylight, Masonic Veterans Association, Ambassadors, America Legion Post #116, and a lifelong member of Arbutus Volunteer Fire Dept.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) on Thursday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Service will be held on Friday 10:15am. Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. A network of non-profit hospitals that provides free services, transportation and research for children and their families across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
