Condolence: I will miss Don....gone too soon. His dedication in his professional life is worthy of praise--his dedication and love for his wife, Susan, was exemplary. His belief in rights and justice for all was admirable. RIP

Condolence: I remember Don during our days as classmates in the MSP Academy. I remember that I had total respect and admiration for him knowing that he was a combat veteran. He served his country and the state with honor and pride. He truly was a mensch. Hoping that you find comfort knowing that Don is sitting at God's table with his family and friends.

Condolence: There is simply too much to say here about my dear friend Don. I am going to miss him terribly as a friend who always placed others before himself; someone who was always willing to led a hand or a thought. He and Sue were among the last of Debbie's and my friends who were still patient enough to attempt going out to dinner during Debbie's final weeks and months; something that has come to mean so much. Don never gave me advice, he would only offer a well considered thought on whatever we were discussing - quite a few topics over our decades of friendship that began with a love of our community. My life will be much emptier with Don's passing.

Condolence: Don was such a kind and honorable man. His passing is a significant loss to the Finksburg community. I am so glad that I knew him and he will always be a role model for me.

Condolence: Don is my little brother I will miss him terribly. I am sure my parents are happy to have him with them. The Broken Chain~~~ I little knew Monday morning that God was going to call your name. In life I loved you dearly; in death I do the same. It broke my heart to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of me went with you, the day God called you home. You left me peaceful memories, your love is still my guide; and though I cannot see, you are always at my side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. I l54ove you little brother!

Condolence: Don and I were roommates in the MSP academy in 1972 and remained close friends ever since. Most recently we spent many weeekends riding our Harley's together. You will never find a better friend than Don. He was always there when you needed him. Rest In Peace my brother until we meet again.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened by the passing of Don for his family, friends and co workers. He will always be remembered as a wonderful man, excellent worker and loyal friend. He will be sorely missed. The World is a less perfect place without him in it.

Condolence: Don exemplified professionalism in all that he did. Our paths crossed while he was with the Attorney General's Office. Condolence: Don Hoffman was my cousin. Our mothers were sisters. My brother Dan and I grew up with Don and his sister, Becke. We were very close, like best friends, as kids. We, from the Hagerstown, Md. area, have all been saddened by his recent illness and now his passing. RIP sweet cousin.

Condolence: My deepest and most heart-felt condolences to all of Donnie's family. Donnie and I grew up together and were as close as brothers. Where you saw one, you usually saw the other. He was a more then a true friend. As we reached adulthood our paths kind of went in different directions. However, we still kept up with each other through phone and an occasional visit. I will miss you my friend and our chats. I love you and I thank you for being my friend for life and all the wonderful and amazing memories I have. The Funkstown bunch rides on.

Mr. Hoffman, I am eternally grateful to have been selected to be Miss Sue's Piano Instructor that spiraled into Music Therapy, friend, and in home caretaker within a little over a year and a half time span. More than anything, I am elated that you held my hand tight, closed your eyes, and sincerely repented, and then asked Jesus Christ to live and reign in your heart. You chose to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and are now in His presence in perfect peace forever. I did not work with him at MSP on a daily basis, but when our paths crossed from time to time, I was impressed that I was working with a polite and conscientious man who wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone with whom he worked, and the citizens we served. Condolence: Condolences to the Hoffman family. Don was a current member & a past officer of the American Legion Reisterstown Post 116 as well as member the Legion Rider Group Post 116. Had great times riding with him on the American Legion Legacy Ride as well as participating in the Annual Rolling Thunder ride. Farewell, my fellow Legionnaire. Rest in Peace.
