Walter G.  Driver Sr.
Walter G. Driver, Sr., 76, of Hampstead, passed away on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at the Westminster Health Care Center. Born July 3, 1941 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles and Alverta (Simmers) Driver. He was the beloved husband of Mary L. Driver, his wife of almost 57 years.

He was a member of Hampstead Lions Club, St. Mark's Lutheran Church and Dug Hill Gun Club. He enjoyed Civil War Reenactments, fishing and crabbing. He had been a printer at the Baltimore Sun prior to retirement.

Surviving in addition to his wife is son, Walter "Jay" G. Driver, Jr. of Middle River; daughter, Patricia Lynn Driver of Hampstead; granddaughters, Jennifer M. Marx of Cleveland, OH, Amanda L Craig of Westminster, Kathleen F. Craig of Hampstead, MD; twin brother, Charles T. Driver, Jr. of Baltimore. Also survived by seven great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Ann Craig.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
