William Michael  Finch
William Michael Finch, 80, of Hampstead, MD passed away Saturday July 15, 2017 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester, MD.

Born October 21, 1936 in Smoke Run, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine Lucas Finch. He was the husband of Janet Faye Finch, his wife of 59 years.

Mr. Finch had worked as an accountant for the A.A.I. Corporation in Cockeysville. He had served in the Maryland Air National Guard. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Hanover, PA.. He enjoyed hunting, music and studying The Bible.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, William Douglas Finch of New Windsor, MD and Michael David Finch of Westminster, MD; six grandchildren and one great-grandson; brothers, Frank Finch of PA, John Finch of Lavonia, MI, George Finch of Altoona, PA; and sister, Janet Brown of Hanover, PA. He was predeceased by his daughter, Valerie Ann Finch.

The family will receive friends Wednesday July 19 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday July 20 at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Sheely officiating. Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester.
