Marion W.  Koontz (Wehe)
Marion Wehe Koontz, 89, of Hampstead, died Thursday June 29, 2017 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born Sept. 1, 1927 in Catonsville, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Barbara Sophia Eber Wehe. She was the wife of the late Franklin Norris Koontz, Sr.
She had been a teacher’s aide and was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving is a son, Frank N. Koontz, Jr. of Hampstead; daughters and sons-in-law, Cecilia K. and Daniel Terlizzi of Hampstead and Cynthia K. and John Yingling of Hampstead; grandchildren Daniel Terlizzi, III, Dominic Terlizzi, John Yingling, Jr., Christina Yingling, Christopher Dinardo and Sarah Dinardo Nelson; great-grandchildren, Kahlid Dinardo and June Nelson; and sister, Betty Moore of Arbutus.
She was predeceased by daughters, Carol Ann Koontz and Catherine K. Dinardo.
Friends may call at the Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead on Wednesday July 5 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, with the Rev. Michael Roach as celebrant. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
