Alexander A. Lutz, Jr.
Alexander Anthony Lutz, Jr., born December 4th 1942 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, passed from this life the morning of June 19th 2017. Al, as he was known to friends and family, departed peacefully in his home while surrounded by family. Al was preceded in death by his father Alexander Anthony Lutz, Sr. and his mother Ida Celia Lutz. He leaves behind his beloved family; oldest son Alexander Anthony Lutz, III (Tony), his wife Cindy and their children Ryan, Taylor and Carly; second son Jeffrey William Lutz and his daughter Katelyn; daughter Christine Ida Early, her husband Jamie and their children Cooper and Dylan; and his Aunt Phyllis Coppersmith and several cousins. Also, Al leaves behind his beloved Natty.

While Al was mostly devoted to his family, he was extremely proud of his lifelong career working on railroads with B&O, Canton, and Amtrak. Al could usually be found in his home team’s jersey, as he was an avid Baltimore sports fan.
