On September 28, 2016 Gloria Dorina Bates of Highland, MD passed away. Wife of the late Richard A. Bates, Sr. Mother of Diane Koelbel, Patricia Bates, Ronald Bates, Michael Bates and the late Richard A. Bates, Jr. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She enjoyed living in Ocean City and Ocean Pines and having good times with her family and friends.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) 7-9pm on Monday. Service will be held on Tuesday, 10am at the funeral home. Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
