I remember starting at East Middle and knowing NO1 having ZERO friends, being picked on during the most AWKWARD yrs of any kids life...i dnt remember HOW we became friends i just kno tht whn no1 else spoke 2me u did! U walked the halls sat next 2me in class and walked 2 rexalls/library w me lol! Our social circles changed eventually but u didnt. i remember runnin in2 u whn we both lived in Bishop and U were doin the same thing 4 Bible Jeff! Really bad time in my life and u opened up ur home and helped me sort thru my BS like we were still 12yrs old! I remember how certain ppl were just 'protected' or off limits there bc u made sure ur place was neutral like Switzerland! I used 2hide there whn a certain person wld b 'lookin' 4me or whn i just needed 2get away frm my own drama and u always gave me an ear full about my crappy decisions but yet wld also b there whn i had 2face it head on. That is the Kandi i will 4ever cherish and remember...the one who was there whn i needed someome stronger than myself 2push me back in2 control of my own stuff. The person who stuck up 4ppl who cldnt do it on their own then HELPED thm learn how 2look out 4themselves & become strong. That my friend is a tru gift!
