On February 2, 2016 William Burton Parris, III of Reisterstown beloved husband of Elizabeth E. “Libby” (nee Estes) Parris. Father of Michael S. and his wife Lydia Parris, Patricia L. Parris and Rebecca L. and her husband Blake Chappell. Grandfather of Katelyn, Carter and Gloria Parris, Zephyr Chappell and the late Adam Parris.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) on Friday 5-7pm. Service will be held on Saturday, 2pm at the MD Wing Headquarters, Civil Air Patrol, 3085 Hernwood Road, Woodstock, MD 21163. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established the Colonel Bill Parris Solo School Scholarship fund to help future pilots follow in his footsteps. Checks should be made to the Maryland Wing Civil Air Patrol with a memo of Bill Parris Scholarship Fund.
