Raymond Ersell Covey, III passed away Aug 26th at the Dove House in Hampstead, Md. Ray was born in Elkridge, MD on Aug 3, 1934 to Raymond, Jr. and Jean Covey. Ray was a resident of Hurlock, MD. Ray was a motorcycle enthusiast and traveled all throughout the United States on his motorcycle.
He was predeceased by his parents, daughter, J. Lovette Covey, and his sisters Margaret Gajewski and Linda Kochendorfer.
Ray is survived by his son, Raymond “Buddy” Covey; daughter-in-law Brenda Covey; grandchildren, Julie D. Covey and Jason (Heather) Tawney; brother Robert “Bob” (Bonnie) Covey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
