Walter George Sick, Sr., 87, of Owings Mills, MD passed away on August 13, 2015. He was born on February 26, 1928 in Towanda, PA to the late Robert and Mary Sick. He was married to the late Minerva Mae (nee Allen) Sick.
Walter worked as an electrician. He was a US Navy veteran.
He is survived by his son Richard McPhee and his wife Gloria of Finksburg, MD; son Walter G. Sick, Jr. and his wife Michele of Westminster, MD; daughter Melanie Hughes of Owings Mills, MD; son Allen Sick and his wife Joanna of Parkville, MD; sisters Laura Benjamin and Leona Curtis both of Towanda, PA; grandchildren Timothy and his wife Carrie, Brett and his wife Michelle, David and his wife Kate, Kyle and his wife Jade Hughes, Caitlin Sick, Heather and Stacey , Tiffany Stephens and Danny and Charles; great grandchildren Colin, Lauren, Gavin, Camden, Avery and Riley Hughes; dearest friend Betty Baumgartner. Predeceased by sisters Betty White and Catherine Wright; brother William Sick.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Sunday, August 16, 2015, 6-8pm. Service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015, 11am at the funeral home. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
