William Michael “Bill” Patterson, Sr., 80, of Reisterstown passed away on July 3, 2015 at the Dove House in Westminster. He was born on February 10, 1935 in Baltimore to the late Howard and Katherine (nee Schneider) Patterson. He was married to the late Edith Margaret (nee Taylor) Patterson.

Bill had several jobs throughout his lifetime. He had worked for Mrs. Ihrie’s Potato Chip company, delivered milk for Sealtest and was a manager for a liquor store in Crownsville, MD. He was a founder of the Reisterstown Rec Council, 1970, serving as its first President.

He is survived by his son William M. Patterson, II of Baltimore, son Robert G. and his wife Vicki Patterson of Key West, FL and daughter Kimberly A. Patterson and her husband Calvin Oland, Jr. of Reisterstown; grandchildren Robert G. “Bobby” Patterson, Jr. and Michael V. Patterson both of Hanover, PA; brother and sister in law Howard “Pat” and Bev Patterson of Funkstown, MD; sister Margaret Buschman of Towson, MD.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Tuesday 10am to 11am. Service will be held on Tuesday, 11am at the funeral home. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made at www.ElineFuneralHome.com
